The Beginners Guide To Meditation

Begin meditating at any time you like. I started doing daily meditations before going to sleep. But if you like morning or midday: this is fine too! Just sit quietly for 2 minutes with your eyes clothed. Set up a timer on your phone. Breathe through your nose. Concentrate on feeling the sensation of air entering and exiting your nostrils. Just do this. If the thoughts come, let them come. Thoughts are like clouds in the sky. You can not prevent them from coming. Observe the thoughts appear and return back at concentrating on your breathing. Inhale. Exhale. Inhale. Exhale. Continue for 2 minutes. After a week increase your meditation time to 4 minutes. After another week increase your meditation time to 8 minutes. After another week increase to 16 minutes and continue with 16 minutes for a month. Now it should be easy to switch to meditating on the channel of your choice. We recommend meditating on the channel for 20 minutes.
